Autokiniton US Holdings, Inc., acquires L & W, Inc. and its family of companies (L&W Group). L&W Group is a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry specializing in metal stampings, welded assemblies, and tubular products.

July 2019

Autokiniton US Holdings, Inc., enters into a definitive agreement to acquire Tower International, Inc. (Tower), a leading Tier 1 manufacturer of structural metal automotive components and supplier of metal stampings, welded assemblies, frame structures, and chassis structures. . 

September 2019

The acquisition of Tower is completed. Together, the capabilities of L&W Group and Tower create the number two Body-In-White and vehicle-frame supplier in North America, with annual sales of $2.3B..

Autokiniton Global Group (AGG) is formed by KPS Capital Partners and George Thanopoulos (AGG Chairman & CEO) to acquire L&W Group. L&W Group is a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry specializing in metal stampings, welded assemblies, and tubular products. ï»¿

July 2018

AGG enters into a definitive agreement to acquire Tower International, a leading Tier 1 manufacturer of structural metal automotive components and supplier of metal stampings, welded assemblies, frame structures, and chassis structures. 

September 2019

Autokiniton completes its acquisition of Tower International, which is taken private and merged with L&W Group. The merger of L&W Group and Tower International has created the number two Body-In-White and vehicle-frame supplier in North America, with sales of $2.3B.
